THE SESSION
Comfort and relaxation are key to getting results in your session. I strive to fully understand your specific needs and overall goals to provide you with a stress-free experience and a perfect photo shoot. For this purpose, it is best to arrive on time, so please allow yourself sufficient time to arrive at the studio. This will also reduce any additional anxiety and help achieve your best look. Be sure to get plenty of good sleep for two days prior to your shoot, and avoid drinking alcohol -- instead, be well hydrated so that you look your best!
Please also bring a variety of clothing and avoid stripes, polka dots or patterns. Try to dress in solid colors, but avoid white, pink or pastels. It is better to have too many choices than to have too few, so bring plenty of tops and bottoms. When you arrive at the studio, we will discuss the objectives of the photo shoot and choose the appropriate combinations of clothing for your desired looks. You may then begin applying the makeup and we can start the session. Questions and input are encouraged, as I strongly believe that a good rapport with the client before, during, and after the shoot always leads to a successful outcome.
I shoot only one client per day, so that all the focus and attention of that day is strictly on you and you have everything that you need. Also, I shoot a combination of ambient and studio lighting to give your photos a uniquely beautiful edge.
Most important of all, the session should be a positive and enjoyable experience so that you may project this in all your photos. After all, this is the point of shooting your headshots!
